It's a Date Barbados was established in 2009 by Carolann Gollop, steming from her hobby of creating unique wedding and event invitations for family and friends. As the demand for her creations grew over time, the company has developed into a well-known, popular supplier of high quality, creative and affordable event stationery.
With a keen focus on quality, design and a desire to exceed client expectations, we aim to ensure every job recieves the due care and attention it deserves. As an added benefit, our turnaround times are quick (can be as fast as 3 days) and our prices are affordable. We work within your budget!
In 2011, It's a Date Barbados is proud to partner with, and join the team of Weddings by Malissa, as we continue to grow and diversify our product range, and improve our overall client experience.
What can we create for you?
Basic invitation sets include the invitation, thank you card and appropriate envelopes in white or ivory.
Add-ons to the Invitation Package include response cards, direction cards, coloured envelopes, etc.
Invitation sizes are generally either 5" x 7" or 4" x 9", however square layouts are also available.
Extra personalized touches include embossing, layering, embellishements, ribbons, etc.
Table Setting stationery includes items such as menu cards, name cards, seating charts, table numbers, etc.
For any sit-down meal it is polite to make it as easy as possible for your guests to find where they are to be seated, who they are being seated with, and what foods, cocktails and other refreshements are being served.
Special touches such as small thank you cards or guest favours are nice ways to show your guests how happy you are to have them share your special day.
Wedding Programmes act as your guests' guide to the special day. They can be as simple as a 1-page card, containing a list of the Wedding Party, to a multiple-page booklet, outlining the Wedding Party, Order of Ceremony, Hymns, Special Readings, etc.
The design of the Programme should be consistent with the look and feel of the wedding, as well as the other stationery used for the event. Ideally, there should be a programme for every guest, and you should consider printing up extras to send to guests who could not be there to celebrate with you.
